DeDreana has a background in information technology and training and Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) training. She has a BA in Communications and expertise in project management, gap analysis, client relationship management, and strategic planning. Several years ago she hosted a Hands-On Workshop in her home and she has been an active neighborhood volunteer here in Durham. She is working part-time to promote neighborhood transit options.

Energy Education Director
Tom Higgins (919) 699-3370 tom@cleanenergydurham.org  | Tom played an active role in developing the Clean Energy program as a volunteer and continues to administer the program as a staff member. Tom has professional training in energy efficiency and green building, and he has experience consulting on energy efficiency and environmentally-friendly living. His academic background also includes a Masters degree in Neurobiology, and he brings his scientific expertise to this position. With a focus on energy education for the organized neighborhood energy committees, Tom provides technical assistance and coordinates energy workshops and educational activities. He has lived in the area since 2001. |
Operations Director
Ann Roy (919) 323-3244 ann@cleanenergydurham.org  | Ann has over 20 years of professional experience in project and financial management. She has a BBA in Banking and Finance and an MS in Technical Communication. Her considerable skills and enthusiasm for systems and operations keep Clean Energy Durham's programs running smoothly. Ann is also a former U.S. Peace Corps volunteer who served in Estonia. |
Community Outreach Director
Lenora Smith (919) 308-6914 lenora@cleanenergydurham.org  | Lenora coordinated the Durham community outreach program on lead paint abatement for 12 years. She has a Masters in Human Science: Family and Consumer Science and her work in the community has involved program development for behavioral change, door-to-door outreach, testing and evaluation, facilitation of discussion with community partners, financial management, and creative projects such as a children's musical on lead paint hazards. Lenora joined the staff in 2007 as a Community Outreach Specialist for Northeast Central Durham and became Community Outreach Director in 2009. |
